On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we look at 3 areas where Dean Evason can improve as a coach in 2022-23. We start with the lineup itself. Dean has done a great job with lineup construction during his tenure, but we discuss how the Blues proved what is necessary to win in the postseason in the opening round against the Wild last season. We discuss special teams, and Dean's insistence that the players were to blame for the bad results. While that may be true, Dean also should consider scheme tweaks and/or personnel changes to improve those units. We finish by looking at the overall mentality of the team, and their need to come back multiple times in the third period. Would a focus on playing better earlier in the game lead to better results?
