5:05pm- On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke with reporters about President Trump’s efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, calling him “the peace president” and noting that “what we've witnessed President Trump accomplish over the last few days has been nothing short of remarkable. We are now 3.5 years into the war between Russia and Ukraine...Thanks to President Trump's efforts, we finally have movement after years of deadly gridlock."

5:15pm- In a post to X, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard wrote: “Over the past few months, I’ve been working closely with our partners in the UK, alongside the president and vice president, to ensure Americans' private data remains private and our Constitutional rights and civil liberties are protected. As a result, the UK has agreed to drop its mandate for Apple to provide a ‘back door’ that would have enabled access to the protected encrypted data of American citizens and encroached on our civil liberties.”

5:30pm- U.S. Boots on the Ground? On Monday, President Donald Trump held a multilateral meeting from the White House—which included Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and several European leaders including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. During an interview with Fox & Friends, Trump emphasized “you have my assurance” there will be no U.S. troops on the ground in Ukraine.
