Crash and Burn! Cody, Robert, and Nat suit up for movie gladiatorial combat as they take on Stuart Gordon's VHS classic / cult film Robot Jox, after a Valentine's Day recap and a discussion of the Wachowski's disappointing Jupiter Ascending.  It turns out that two people have never seen Robot Jox before, so what did we make of it as it nears its 25th birthday? Ahead of its time or a product of its time? Things take a turn for the positively weird as we discuss the anatomical possibilities of test tube babies. You'll have to listen to find out how weird.

For Valentine's Day (or perhaps anti-Valentine's Day depending on your point of view), Robert, Nat, and Cody take in a story of a boy's love for his dog. Only this boy is played by a young Don Johnson and his dog is a telepath that helps him survive the post-apocalyptic future of 2024. Does it live up to its cult status? How does it compare to Mad Max? And does it tell us anything about love?

Nat, Cody, and Robert take a nostalgic look back at the soaring heroes of yesterday with SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW.

But, first, they share their New Year's film resolutions, before plunging into the featured movie. That's just the warmup though, as we globe trot to 1930s, retro-futuristic New York City, Shangri-La, and Skull Island.
