Which is the Best Podcast: Episode 69 - LEWD SPECIAL

Lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson Out Of Byker Grove meet each week and decide which is best between thingsof the same or similar names (Microchips or Micro Chips for example). It is enjoyed by people who like it.

As it's Episode 69, it seemed apt to do a rude special.

Can't really go through the list of decisions here but, well, if you know that cream pie has more than one meaning you might get the jist.

Oddly, it's only slightly more rude than the live episode that goes out next week that was recorded in front of a group of Catholic 6th formers...

Each week comedians Lee Kyle (Ad libbed a joke about a computer once that will never work out of the context of that specific gig) and Sammy Dobson (BIG Doctors news contained within) meet and decide between things of the same or similar names.

They will until someone stops them or one of them (Lee) dies.

This week they take on the most popular listener suggestion they've ever had, the much demanded:

Sue Perkins (Wry about baking)

and

Superkings (Slightly longer cigarettes)

They do, admittedly, only sound like each other if you say each one slightly wrongly.

It feels like a big episode this, lots of stuff going on in it. It may have just been that I edited it at 2am though.

Episode 67

Easter special

Jesus vs Cheeses

It wasn't until we were just about to record this weeks show (Where Lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson meet and decide which is the best bewtween things with the same or similar names) that we realised it'd be coming out on Easter Monday.

So, we hastily decided to put together an Easter special but couldn't really think of anything.

So, we decided between:

Jesus (Son of God/Nice man who lived around those times who did a lot of good things/lets not get into it here)

vs

Cheeses (Enzymed up milk)

Yeah, they don't really sound the same do they? Rest assured though it is the same load of unfamily friendly nonsense as usual.

Of course, after we'd recorded we thought of loads of other things we could have done. Maybe next year.

The key part of this episode though has nothing to do with either thing, it is instead the BBC actress (BBC no less) Sammy Dobson act in a way that is not okay, not okay at all...

Each week (Except last week) Lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson decide which is the best between things with similar names.

For episode 66, they explore the sigificance of years ending 66 in English history and with absolutely no reverence to the past they discuss:

The second of todays 'Apology for not having a new podcast up this week episodes'.

It's a no longer available episode of the old '24 Minutes of Funny Team' podcast, where the now defunct sketch group Funny Team talked shit for an alloted amount of time.

This was the best episode I think. Lee wasn't in it.

We had no episode last week, so Lee has been putting up old stuff every day as a sort of penance.

Except he was too busy yesterday (Recording a new episode!) so 2 are going up today.

This is Episode 5 of the no longer available '24 Minutes of Funny Team' podcast where whichever members of the defunct sketch group Funny Team (You'd have liked them) that were available chat for exactly 24 Minutes.

This one probably has quite bad sound quality and features Lee and Sammy chatting in a car on the way back from a gig in Yorkshire.

I'm sure it is fine.

After 65 consecutive weeks, we have no episode this week.

As a result, Lee is trying to make amends by posting some old, no longer available, stuff each day.

Today, am episode of his old 21 Questions podcast with Ben Crompton, a wonderful stand up and man who is also in Game of Thrones, Ideal and, most impressively, 102 Dalmations.

After a 65 week unbroken streak, this week finds us without an episode to release due to a mixture of busyness, illness and holiday.

So, as a penance (Lee out of WITB) is putting out something from his archive of shite every day.

First, this is an episode of the old, no longer available, 21 Questions podcast where, due to needing an episode quickly, he interviewed his son, who was then 13 or 14 or something.

If you're worried that it'll be twee, it isn't. Stand by for bad parenting!
