Which Murderer?

In Episode 21 Gemma and Holly release two episodes covering the massive cases of some English Heavy-Hitter Murderers. They cover the horrific cases of **Fred and Rose West**, then **Peter Sutcliffe** who are some of the most prolific and psychopathic serial killers in English history. In this two-parter they talk about why it’s not a good idea to have a murder signature, they start a new Dr. Suess story without even trying, everyone is getting pregnant via their own family members, Christmas sweaters are ruined for everyone and they ask the public for help on grave digging facts.

Recording and all the other tech stuff done by Producer Craig who we have promoted to junior personal assistant to Cleo the cat. He seems quite happy to be paid weekly in diluting juice.

In episode 20 we conclude that celebrities are people too and discuss Celebrities who Murder. Gemma covers creepy music producer Phil Spector, a man who didn’t rock the baldness but had a habit of threatening people with guns. Holly picked Sons of Anarchy actor, Johnny Lewis aka ‘halfsack’. Blame it all on Tom Cruise and Scientology. But still, be scared by them too. Holly struggles to pick this week, but that’s because there is a cat involved. Do not come between a woman and her cat!

In Episode 19 Gemma and Holly take a suggestion from Gemma’s Mum and talk about Irish Murders. They cover killers Gerard Toal and Graham Dwyer and find out that Holly is worse at Irish place names than math. Gemma redeems herself with her Irish heritage…mostly. In this episode they discuss what age you should definitely start committing murder, how fire hoses work, why dogs should only fetch femur bones and discover a new way to get rid of evidence.

Recording and all the other tech stuff done by the Producer ‘previously known as genius but now demoted to okayish due to his music trivia failures’, Craig. He has a 15 step clap-dance routine at the start of each episode and this month we are paying him in lederhosen. It seems appropriate.

In episode 18 Gemma and Holly take a suggestions from Holly’s lovely South African man and discuss some not so lovely South African men. One is a s**thole and the other is a Kock. Gemma continues to forget what she is actually doing in her life and Holly can’t count without doing the strangest of voices. It’s so funny that we have had that part playing on repeat since we recorded. We are required to put this disclaimer out that we really tried to say all the names and places correctly but they are probably wrong. Listen and learn about Moses Sithole and Eugene De Kock.

In Episode 17 Gemma and Holly take a suggestion from Producer Craig and tackle the tragically hilarious topic of BIZARRE MURDERS. They cover killer Debra Sue Hewitt and victim Ramon Novarro – who Holly is determined to link with a famous singer despite having no link to a famous singer….probably. In this episode they discuss how impossible it is for other people to describe this podcast, if prosthetic limbs bend (hint: they do), there are struggles with name pronunciations and a weird game of lip reading that Gemma won.

They cover Charles Lindbergh Jr. and Captain James Cook.....where Gemma goes incognito, Holly declares the first crossing of the Atlantic by air to be stupid and Producer Craig gets creeped out. They unravel the suspicious characters associated with the famous kidnapping and how a famous explorer got murdered while kidnapping a king.

Episode 15 focuses on a sometimes forgotten victim group - WRONGFULLY CONVICTED. Discussed are Craig Richard Coley (for the murder of Rhonda and Donald Wicht) and Randall Dale Adams (for the murder of officer Robert Wood) where Gemma and Holly dissect the US criminal justice system in a judgy way, make (totally reasonable) demands for candy from the kind person who suggested this topic, Holly cheers Gemma up with a MASSIVE link in her case to a newly revealed serial killer and everyone gets depressed. Our choice on Which Murderer is very different this week...also if you plan on watching ‘The Jinx’ don’t listen past minute 28 because Holly gives the entire series away and gets confused by time travel. Again.
