Whiskey Business episodes

  • We're Getting The Band Back Together
After weeks of recording Whiskey Business remotely, the band is back together and in person at Dino's infamous "Pond." From haircuts to wildlife, Dino, Greg and John take a break from it all and share some laughs over a pour of Jefferson's Reserve.

  • If You Can Make It There...
Whiskey Business went remote and live to NYC, the starting epicenter of COVID-19 to talk with 3 talented individuals who continue to make their way through the indiscriminate fog of the virus. Danielle Tripodis (Dino’s daughter) Mike Greco and Kern Rodriguez shared stories, cocktails and thoughts of the future as America begins to slowly open back up. What have these creative and talented people done while quarantined? What will they be doing once they’re back out there? It all makes for interesting talk and pours on this week’s Whiskey Business.

  • Two Words Down For Comedian
Comedian, Greg Warren returned to Whiskey Business for another remote broadcast with Dino and the Boys.
Always funny and always insightful, Greg has been busy.
He has a new podcast with comedian, Brendan Eyre called ONE DOWN, a very funny show that’s centered around crossword puzzles. Plus a new comedy special coming to Amazon Prime on 6/30/20 called Where The Field Corn Grows. So tune in and enjoy this installment of a 2 word, 15 letter answer for fun: Whiskey Business

  • Bourbon and Broads
If you’re going to podcast remotely, go big whenever possible and we did this week on Whiskey Business as Dino and the boys welcomed three amazing and funny ladies to the podcast.
Nickey Winkelman, Sarah Storer and Amber Falter joined the podcast for conversations that ranged from the funny to the heartfelt and everything in between: The Seven Deadly Sins, receiving dick pics and who’s handled the pandemic better- men or women?
With some Widow Jane bourbon making the guest bottle appearance, this was one podcast that truly had something for everyone.

  • The MO' Spirits, The Better!
Founders of M&O Spirits, Doug and Mike, give us a virtual tour of their young operation. Comedian Jeff Gage also joins the show to add some levity to the episode. Plus, a first ever "Whiskey Business Mistake of the Week" award is given to Producer Greg Hansberry.

  • Seeing Red
The one thing you can say for certain about Whiskey Business is you truly never know where the podcast may go or who might be on it. The Red Tent Revival is the charitable brainchild of Za Unit and Julia O’Keefe who are also the musical duo Tickles and Pokes. Their organization strives to put an end to “Period Poverty” making feminine hygiene products available to those women who because of their economic situation can simply not afford them.
They join the show to share how their efforts have culminated into the repeal of The Pink Tax in Ohio. Oh...and they played some surprising music on the podcast that caught us all off guard.
Also returning to the podcast was our friend and comedian, Jason Banks who’s been releasing funny videos to lighten our emotional load almost daily during this pandemic.
So...we give you some comedic punch, an end to period poverty, and of course the podcast you’ve come to love and never predict from one week to the next.
All of it pondered and played out with a bottle of Western Reserve Bourbon Whiskey from Lakewood, Ohio.
I don’t think I can get anymore “p’s” in this description other than to say “Please enjoy and keep listening to Whiskey Business.”

  • The Variety Pack
Making the best of remote podcasting, it's the Whiskey Business variety show! Rudy Alexeeff from High Bank Distillery talked about their initiative to make hand sanitizer to combat Covid-19.
Musician Dave Powers also came along for the ride to play and discuss how he and fellow musicians were still sharing their craft during the pandemic. We also went back in time to share some clips of Dino’s 50th Birthday Comedy Roast. Plus, we even have had a taste of some country music (sort of) with Dino’s “COORS AIN’T CORONA” song. If you missed it live, now’s your chance to enjoy the fun. One viewer said it was like “Corona Carson” a complimentary throwback nod to the great King of Late Night, Johnny Carson. No desk. No couch. But we’ll take it! Enjoy!

  • Stream A little Stream For me
Run out of things to watch during your quarantine? Not to worry! Maddwolf.com movie critics, George Wolf and Hope Madden, are here to help. They give their picks for the best movies you can stream from home while social distancing. Plus, they give their take on how this pandemic will impact the theater industry. The guest bottle this week is J.T.S. Brown. It's a whiskey from the bottom shelf, but as you'll learn, was made popular from a top shelf movie.

  • Life Of The Party
Michael Loftus, actor, writer, comedian, producer and creator of The Loftus Party, joins Whiskey Business remotely for an “inner workings” look at the sitcom world. Loftus shares how he got his first break on The George Lopez Show, working with Charlie Sheen on Anger Management, and his current creative endeavors with Kevin James. Plus a party we can all get behind...The Loftus Party, his rollicking, always fun and unpredictable show on YouTube. This jam packed episode of Whiskey Business is a good watch or listen in these confining times! Enjoy!

  • There’s No Place Like Home (Ugh!)
Dino and the boys tried their best to stay sane while “staying at home” when they were joined remotely by comedian Dan "Swarty" Swartout. Dan is also the vice-mayor of Powell, Ohio and along with some lighter conversation, he talked about how his suburban city is dealing with the “new normal.” The guest bottle was not so distant, however, as Dino enjoyed some Noah’s Mill bourbon.
Enjoy this podcast as the guys “go full pocket.” Yeah...listen and you’ll find out what that means too.
