But this time it's the rye version instead of the bourbon. Will the rye redeem Texas Giant from the bad taste that is still in our mouths from the bourbon? 2 parts blended Scotch whisky
1 part Drambuie liquor

We haven't done much local whiskey on Whiskey Under 50, but that ends today. This week we taste the local powerhouse Woodinville Whiskey Co Bourbon and put it up against some other local offerings from the nano distiller Bad Dog and the Hood River Distillery Trail's End. 
You don't have to travel all the way to Kentucky to get some good whiskey - you might find it in your own backyard. Cheers!
