According to the stats, the majority of those raised in conservative Christian homes stop going to church sometime in their late teens and early twenties. What accounts for this disturbing trend and what should Christians do about it? How can we pass on the faith to the next generation in such a secular age as this? Shane Rosenthal discusses this issue with Sean McDowell, co-author of So the Next Generation Will Know: Preparing Young Christians for a Challenging World.

The world is changing. So how are we to deal with the new spiritual landscape in which many of those who claim to follow Jesus also believe in things such as reincarnation? How should we respond to an atheist or agnostic who says he also believes in astrology and the healing power of crystals? On this episode, Michael Horton and Adriel Sanchez discuss these issues and more with University of California Irvine campus minister Derek Rishmawy.

How do you think most Christians would answer the question: "Does God look on the heart to see who truly loves and seeks him?" How does Paul answer this question in his letter to the Romans? You'll find out this week on the White Horse Inn (originally aired 03-26-06).
In today’s hyper-partisan and media-saturated culture, we’re not trained to be good listeners. In fact, when it comes to discussing our religious or political convictions with others, too often we are encouraged to throw bombs at the other side or to present caricatures of other people’s views. But in Colossians chapter 4, Paul instructs us to be wise in the way we deal with outsiders, and that our speech should “always be gracious.” On this program, Shane Rosenthal discusses this with Greg Koukl, author of Tactics, which was just released in a newly expanded 10th-anniversary edition.
