Whitey Jordan, a member of the Clemson athletics Hall of Fame, played and coached for Frank Howard in the 1950s and 60s. He later coached an extraordinary succession of great running backs including Eric Dickerson, Craig James and Emmitt Smith. Jordan talks the SMU Pony Express days, coming back to Clemson when things were turning sour under Ken Hatfield, and how Dabo Swinney has built one of the foremost powerhouses in college football. We also dive in to some X-and-O talk and what Jordan thinks of the spread/RPO revolution in college football.
