Cynthia lost her first husband to cancer, leaving her raising two young boys on her own.  Unfortunately, she wants a man in her life.  When she meets Randy Roth, she can not believe her good luck.  He has a son, he is a church goer, he attends ballgames, he romances her, her treats her kids well.  When Randy asks Cindy to marry him, she says yes.  She doesn't know about his real past and his real intentions.
