Who Owns Your Story

The thread of connection comes through the portal of storytelling. So, when we share our stories with others – who actually owns them? Is it we, the storyteller, who owns the rights and controls the distribution? Or, is it the receiver, who now has your story in their hands to do with it what they desire?

Somewhere between the storyteller and the receiver, there is space for so many interpretations, judgements and ultimately commonalities that bind us more than our behaviours may seek to separate us.
