A recent survey cited that 81% of parents thought that it was their responsibility to teach their children about money. We do know that being financially responsible is important not only for adults but also children. Setting the stage for wise money management can begin in early childhood…but do we know how to do this?

Today, I’ve invited my guest Jojy Schless, to join our conversation. Jojy is a Mom of a seventeen year old daughter, who will be heading off to college next year….armed with a very realistic and responsible sense of money. Jojy is a Masters prepared social worker that began her career as an adolescent & family therapist over 20 years ago. She started her own coaching business in 2001 and received her Master’s in Business in 2007. She’s a leadership coach that works with individual clients and small businesses. Given her background and a sense of the importance of financial responsibility, Joji took a step by step approach in teaching this to her own daughter.
