Florida has woken up to a problem it doesn’t usually have, frozen iguanas falling out of trees. A rare cold snap over the weekend has left the oversized lizards so stunned they’re literally dropping onto lawns, pavements and the occasional parked car. And in a move that sounds more like a game show than wildlife management, residents have been given a limited window to scoop them up and hand them in — all in the name of pest control.
