He was one of America’s bravest and most resourceful Revolutionary War generals. He was wounded in battle and spent much of his own money on the cause of independence. And yet, step by step, Benedict Arnold moved toward a decision that would make his name synonymous with betrayal and treason. Historian Nathaniel Philbrick will take us through the thinking and actions that shifted Arnold from fighting for the Americans to fighting for the British.
