On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, Chuck and Mark are joined by Scott Tillman. Scott is the National Field Director for U.S. Term Limits and the National Field Director for the Liberty Initiative Fund, which focuses on the creation of term limits for the United States Congress. 

Chuck and Mark kick off by asking Scott about where they are currently at in their efforts for term limits and what their focus is right now. Scott explains the obstacles they encounter with politicians, which are issues

that have kept term limits from being adopted so far. 

They discuss what would have to be accomplished to implement term limits at the federal level. Scott explains how Congress could complicate

their efforts, even as the support for term limits grows, and why they get a

strong pushback from bureaucrats.

For more than a decade, Scott has worked outside the system to bring real reform to local and state government. With thirteen years of grassroots experience, Scott has a proven record of accomplishment identifying

and training local leaders and supporting them to effect real change in

government policy. Specializing in petition drives, Scott has successfully led and advised local and statewide activist organizations through the initiative and referendum process.  

Scott has served as National Field Director for the Liberty Initiative Fund, a Regional Manager with the Illinois Policy Institute, and an Alliance Manager with the Sam Adams Alliance. Scott has directed petition and

earned media campaigns in more than a dozen states. Scott resides in Michigan with his wife, Katie.
