Former "Billy on the Street" star Billy Eichner’s road to cinematic history has been a bumpy one. Even though his film “Bros” is getting rave reviews, it has tanked at the box office. This is disappointing news for the first ever studio-backed gay rom-com with a wide theatrical release. Billy is beyond bummed and is lashing out. He took to Twitter over the weekend to call out straight people for not showing up to support the movie, calling them “homophobic weirdos.” Is Billy right - did homophobia keep “Bros” from being a box office success, or are there other factors at play?
