Excuses are made about the lack of video content, we scrape the barrel hard for news this week, and we also brought a guest on to cover our shortcomings. It's the doldrums of July so no super new games to discuss, but we have all been up to stuff and playing things. Some thoughts are given about the new Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, your weekly mentioning of Persona happens, lots of news that should need to be news but apparently needs to be gets covered, and the scumbaggery that is loot tables in Free-To-Play games gets talked about. The topic of eSports tournament structures gets discussed in great detail for the main topic as well. The boys he crawled out of the train wreck that was last week's podcast and returned to their usual focused and composed glory. Charley remembers Destiny 1, Alex breaks down how the new Necromancer class in Diablo III works, Jeff begins the end of Persona 5, Metro 2033 gets discussed, the SNES Mini gets poked at, anime makes a quick appearance, and the hidden ramification behind Steam's return system start to surface. If you are a new listener, please come back next week, it will be more normal then. It was the week after E3 and nothing incredibly tantalizing had happened and things get... weird, even by our dubious standards. When we were not talking about romphims, coolings fans, Baby Metal, Hellyeah, spider packing heat, or Icon For Hire (they're a band apparently) there was talk of video games and things relating to video games. We also reveal what the preferred platform for Destiny 2 will be for Something Wicked Studios, talk some about the .hack franchise, and reveal the biggest news that came out of E3 2017 that had nothing to do with E3 2017. Strap in, it's a weird one.

E3 2017 has come and gone, leaving in it's wake a pile of neon yellow identification badges and impossible to achieve pre-rendered trailers. Alex, Charley, Jim and Jeff all gather together to have one final talk about E3 2017 and crown this year's winner.

E3 2017 is upon us! Awesome stuff is happening, but we recorded this before any of that happened so we don't talk about any of the cool stuff that's been revealed. What we do talk about is Alex's multiple chicken dinners, how Jeff has tracked down Persona 3 in a playable format, and Charley explains how Heihachi Mishima might now be the greatest father in video game history. There was also a surprising amount of Nintendo news to run through, like seriously, so much one might think they should've kept some of it for the actual week of E3.
