Wicked Awesomecast

It's the last Wicked Awesome Cast before E3 2017 kicks off, which means it's time for crazy E3 predictions and general speculation about what may or may not happen. We talk about plenty of other stuff as well ranging from the new streaming service Mixer to how Vanquish still holds up pretty god damn well.

Charley schools the others in how easy it is to not miss a podcast recording, Jeff is back from the dead or a road trip (it's not really clear which), and Alex now has an unfortunate number of room mates with mandibles. The current state on the Nintendo Switch gets discussed, Far Cry 5 should appear to more of the Wicked Awesome Cast then it successfully does, more Destiny 2 stuff gets mentioned, and Jeff technically but not really completing Persona 4 get discussed among other things, as is the norm around these parts.

Jeff is out this week, and he is definitely on vacation or something and not dead and/or bleeding out in a basement in North Carolina. Alex and Charley right the ship as best they can down a crew member and talk what's hot in the current world of fashion, Persona 5, how Horizon: Zero Dawn justifies owning a PS4 Pro, space sim games, new sous-like The Surge gets talked about, Overwatch's anniversary celebrations get discussed, and the podcast recording day even got pushed back a day to cover all the new Destiny 2 news that came out. So, SOOO much Destiny 2 talk happens while Jeff is out.

Alex and Jeff are back from totally legitimate reasons for not being available for last week's podcast, so normal podcasting can now resume! This week Charley brags about how he's one boss fight away from being done with Persona 5, Jeff has reached invincibility in Persona 4, and Alex still knows less then Jon Snow when it comes to the Atlusverse. Player Unknown's Battlegrounds gets a quick discussing, Nintendo continues to be kind of bad at launching a new console, the rapidly approaching new E3 gets discussed, and a whole slew of YouTuber drama gets discussed.

Alex had his birthday to attend, we honestly can't remember what Jeff's excuse for not being available for the podcast, and Charley pulled a preamble cast together. If he gets his way, this will be the last. This many podcasts without a break was too many to sift through for this damn thing. As always with these... if this if your first exposure to the Wicked Awesome Cast, please come back next week for our normal show.

Alex joins the discussion about Persona, Jeff recounts his unfortunate run-in with a barber, and Charley is afflicted with allergies. The biggest news this week is Call Of Duty: WWII so that gets discussed in detail, no Nintendo news this week, Elite Dangerous is up to a few cool things, and Peter Molyneux is back in the news and needs to be watched. We also have a few emails and the Alex vs The Realest Kevin Smith starts out on it's road to it's final resolution.

Surprise surprise, we talk more about Persona 5, and still somehow manage to not really go into spoilers. Jeff also got screwed over by Neir: Automata's end-game, Alex is back into raiding, Charley has some residual anger aimed at Attack On Titan, Jeff finally makes it to the god damn hospital, despite all logic Star Citizen is brought up and Alex let's the Overwatch Salt flow. There's also listener mail, some Nintendo news/conspiracy theories, and everything else you've come to expect from the Wicked Awesome Cast at this point.

If you came to this podcast hoping that we would not talk about Persona 5, sorry, Charley and Jeff are still fanboying super hard on that game still. Alex is busy getting involved in a World Of Warcraft mercenary raid culture, the Scorpio news was roughly what was expected, some random hockey talk happens, the usual rundown and dissection of all the gaming news worth talking about happens as always, and for this week's main topic we started with a discussion of sports game but somehow end with Charley researching how to get Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup running on his computer.

So this little game called Person 5 came out, some news stuff happened, Persona 5 gets discussed, Alex announces an up coming live stream, Persona 5 is pretty good or something, we recorded this the day before the Scorpio announcements from Digital Foundry so we do not really talk about that but we do make some predictions, PERSONA 5, lots of listener mail happens, and Jeff and Charley spend a lot of time talking about Persona 5. Persona 5. PERSONA 5!
