Never fear, the Wicked Awesome Cast has survived it's transition into 2017, even if it did start off a little rocky for our content editor. Alex finally joins the podcast as a full time member and Jeff and Charley welcome him as only they can. Some gaming news has happened since the last podcast, and the crew actually had a chance to play some things. The holidays get discussed some, and some resolutions are made for the upcoming year.

Jeff returns from "vacation," Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 makes it's triumphant return return to general podcast discussion courtesy of Jeff, Titanfall 2 is still a pretty cool game, Charley has gotten into corpse trafficking in EVE, he's also trying to save the world from Lovecraftian horrors in The Secret World, and Charley claims that he's "done for now" with Destiny. The boys are back and they come armed with tales from Thanksgiving, Jeff wanders into the wonderful world of Atlus JRPGs, Charley has thoughts on Pokemon Sun and how it's a little bit too successful at replicating the feel of the show, Charley also played Watch Dogs 2 and is happy to report that it is better then the original, there's discussion of "The Happiest Place On Earth," and the usual delivery of gaming news you should know about is delivered. No main topic this week since the "What We've Been Up To" goes long and then some, but beyond that it's business as usual.

The world always has been and will continue to forever be complicated, recent events have not helped that situations. We thought about canceling this week and doing another pre-amble anthology thing, but obviously we decided against that. This week Jeff and Charley's "feel good" games get discussed, The Division gets mentioned positively(?), the new season of League Of Legends has officially begun, lots of other video game stuff gets talked about, some fan mail/YouTube comments get answered/recognized, and Charley proceeds to drink rum the entire recording so theirs a weird pirate undertone as well.
