Wilde & Tausch

Tausch is back for the first time in a few days, preparing both to give a speech and to attend Garding Against Cancer's big event with a garden theme that has Tausch a little upset about his accomplishments in life. Also, catching Tausch up on some of the biggest stories of the week including the Bucks postseason elimination, Quay Walker's fifth-year option not being picked up, and the Packers signing their version of Zack Baun.

Q&A Day concludes with more Packers questions submitted by fans, as well as challenging Cousins Sub of the Day Alex Strouf on the assertion that he thinks he could land a small plane successfully? Also, Whoa Nelly! asking why anyone would ever want to go to a Chicago White Sox game.

Continuing the Packers Q&A theme of the day, with Jason answering questions over the course of the entire hour from fans and from Alex Strouf in as the Cousins Sub of the Day for Tausch.

Alex Strouf is in as the special guest Cousins Sub of the Day as Tausch remains off. And today's show is dedicated to Jason Wilde answering YOUR Green Bay Packers questions! Alex presents a few questions to get the discussion started, followed by presenting questions from fans on the Carbliss ESPN Wisconsin Talk & Text Line.

Reviewing Matt LaFleur's commentary on Jordan Love's growth and strengths while appearing with Wilde and Tausch on-site at an exclusive event before the 2025 NFL Draft. The offseason program schedule just dropped. And Whoa Nelly! featuring Jesse's big souvenir purchase from the NFL Draft that has warranted judgment from Bryan Bulaga.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur joins Jason Wilde and Mark Tauscher ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft at an exclusive event at the Tundra Trio in Green Bay. Recorded on April 24th, 2025.

It's the Jim, Matt & Molly Takeover of Wilde & Tausch! The crew introduces themselves and why their names are almost as unmemorable as Jason and Mark, and how is Molly the oldest 28-year-old you'll ever meet. They ask their first Siding Unlimited poll question: Do you like your own name? They also discuss the Milwaukee Bucks' dire situation heading into tonight's Game 5 versus the Pacers... Down 3-1 and with Dame now out for the foreseeable future with a torn Achilles, Jim explains why he thinks it would be better for the Bucks to just sit Giannis to help preserve his health for next season and/or a future trade. Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike makes his bi-weekly appearance on Wilde & Tausch during today's Jim, Matt & Molly Takeover! They catch up after seeing Evan in Green Bay for the 2025 NFL Draft and ask what's happening with Unsportsmanlike's bus that they took to the draft (and why is it going to transport a turtle across country?)... Jim asks Evan for his thoughts on the Bucks and if they need to wave the white flag on the playoffs to preserve Giannis' health at this point, and does Evan see the Greek Freak playing on a new team like his Miami Heat next season? They also get Evan's thoughts on yesterday's poll question: Who won the NFL Draft this weekend: the city of Green Bay, the Packers draft class, or Mark Murphy? And, why is the correct answer actually Matt LaFleur's pristine hair? Jim, Matt & Molly wrap Hour 1 talking the transactional value of giving old people attention in exchange for hard candy.

It's Hour 2 of the Jim, Matt & Molly Takeover of Wilde & Tausch! They continue discussing their Siding Unlimited poll question inspired by Evan Cohen's appearance in Hour 1: Would a Wisconsin barber know what you mean if you asked to get “the LaFleur” cut? Jason Wilde joins his own show during the Jim, Matt & Molly Takeover of Wilde & Tausch! They discuss the resounding success of the NFL Draft in Green Bay, including how this was a hyper-local draft in terms of fan attendance while also wondering just how accurate is the 600,000 attendance number announced by the NFL. He also gives his informed opinion on Matt LaFleur's hair... Jim, Matt & Molly also asks Jason about what drafting two wideouts in Rounds 1 & 3 means for the job security of Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson, why even Gutey was surprised by Green Bay's draft class played out, which players in this draft class could make an "urgent" impact in Year 1, and the prevailing beliefs that Jaire could end up playing for the Packers in 2025 after they drafted just one cornerback in the seventh round. Jim, Matt & Molly finish Hour 2 with some more conversation about the post-draft landscape of the Packers' receiver room and how much Doubs would fetch in a theoretical trade.
