Wilde & Tausch

After more than a week away enjoying a cruise in the Caribbean, Jesse Nelson returns to produce Wilde and Tausch! The guys catch up on Jesse's vacation fun, including some additional thoughts on topics that came up while he was away. Also, Evan Cohen of Unsportsmanlike on ESPN Radio joins the show preparing to head down to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.

A new week of Wilde & Tausch gets started on an... unexpected foot. Jason attempts to tee up Tausch for a discussion surrounding dream trade scenarios for the Green Bay Packers but Ol'T instead latches on to the fact that Jason chose to be in Milwaukee rather than go on vacation with his family. It simply doesn't make any sense. After spending two segments on that they get into some more hard hitting sports conversation surrounding the Pro Bowl and how to fix it, as usual Tausch has a solution and it involves the Olympics? No trade talk until the second hour!

Hour 2 gets started with a bang as almost exactly at 10, Myles Garrett tweets out that he's requesting a trade from the Cleveland Browns. Some could say that it was perfect timing given that trades were never fully discussed during the first hour... the guys and fans jump right into it with their own mock deals and discussion. Gabe Neitzel joins as well to give his two cents. The only issue is that the more it's broken down, the more difficult it appears to be for the Packers to acquire him, regardless for the meantime optimism reigns supreme on Wilde & Tausch!

Wilde & Tausch keep the Myles Garrett to Green Bay conversation rolling along in the third hour but as they continue to discuss, the more Tausch's analyst brain is thinking that it unfortunately isn't going to happen. Even though the Packers do have the 10th best odds according to Jason Wilde's Vegas correspondent. Trivia is bumped to tomorrow, Whoa Riley features fantasy football punishments and some Gladiator 2 talk before the guys wrap up the show. The gang is all back together tomorrow!

It's Homer & Tausch on this Friday of the last week in January and neither of them know who's driving the show... they spend essentially the entire hour discussing the Packers LB coach and running back coordinator Anthony Campanile leaving Green Bay to take the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator job. After realizing how much he appreciates his usual co-host, Tausch decided to have Jason Wilde join their own show at 9:30 for a looooooong segment where he gives his two-cents on the Campanile news and he thinks that this is a much bigger deal than people think. Homer & Tausch wrap up the hour arguing over cough drops...

The second hour kicks off with some rehashing of yesterday's discussion surrounding Nyzier Fourqurean suing the NCAA to gain another season of eligibility with the Badgers. Tausch thinks that college football should essentially become the NFL's AAA program and get rid of the school aspect for athletes while Homer ponders how long it will take fans and alumni to check out if that happens. Riley hopes for a happy medium solution but that could be too Polly-Anna-ish. Then the one and only Rob Demovsky joins the show to weigh in on Campanile leaving for the Jaguars and give his two cents on what the Packers offseason priorities should be. They conclude the hour with Homer defending his tweets about Giannis potentially leaving the Bucks at the end of this season.

Homer and Tausch get the third hour rolling by discussing Cam Newton's controversial comments from First Take, where he stated that he wouldn't trade his MVP for another championship. Homer can see where he's coming from while Tausch has absolutely none of it. The guys discuss MMA, betting the farm, and the stupidity of "National Marquette Day" during Whoa Riley before Tausch takes off for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Homer takes you home with Steve "The Homer" True themed trivia and Feel Good Friday painted by Hallman Lindsay Paints!

Tasuch said the Packers defense was trending up and was good enough for them to win against the Eagles. Kyle, Brust and Nortman overreacted and lost their minds. Tausch clapped back with what he meant and defends his stance that at the end of the season, the Packers defense was playing better than the offense.

Is the Green Bay Packers defense closer to Super Bowl caliber or is the offense? The guys debate and hear from the fans.

The guys react to Wisconsin Badgers cornerback, Nyzier Fourqurean suing to gain additional eligibility and return to Wisconsin. They also play Gerald Ford Trivia and Blind Resume for Packers and Bucks trade targets.
