Wilde & Tausch

A quick check of this week's ESPN NFL Power Rankings and the changes Tausch would make to them. And Evan Cohen, host of Unsportsmanlike on ESPN Radio, joins the show celebrating Bill Belichick becoming the new head coach at the University of North Carolina. And a condensed Whoa Nelly! featuring Scrabbopoly?

The guys begin to preview the Packers road trip to face the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, including reviewing commentary from head coach Matt LaFleur. What does Tausch remember from his experiences playing in Seattle that will be most difficult for many Packers players going there for the first time? Also, Luke Musgrave is back? And Wilde and Tausch Trivia.

Tausch opens the show asking an IPT ("In Poor Taste") question about a trip to a sub shop last night. Then, the guys dive into the state of Wisconsin football, with a key player returning from the transfer portal. Plus, Tausch sits down with new Badgers offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes.

The guys kick off the final hour by bringing Homer/Tausch's idea to the NFL... what if playoff teams could choose their own opponent? The Cousin's Sub of the Day Riley Jauch struggles figuring out double Wisconsin geography trivia while some technical difficulties even knock the show off the air! Once the dust settles a humbling Whoa Riley concludes the show.

Jason asks Tausch to revisit his tease from yesterday but he forgets... again. So they revisit the poll from yesterday to get the final results on who Packers fans would most like to see win the NFC if it isn't the G&G. This leads to a discussion on how Packers fans view the Lions. Homer joins to talk a little NBA with Tausch and they claim to have an idea to make the NBA Cup more relevant before an abrupt exit. Then Brandon from Tulsa calls in to inform Ol' T that AI has deemed him a homer and that he should lean into it, Tausch vehemently denies the assertion to wrap up the hour.

Tausch kicks off the show by asking Grok AI to describe Wilde & Tausch and it gives a glowing review! Bryan Bulaga joins for some #TackleTalk with Ol' T and lends some perspective on playing in Seattle, describes what he saw in the O-Line Thursday against the Lions, and lets Jason know the angriest he ever got at Aaron Rodgers.

Reactions to Jason's brief one-on-one conversation with Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed at Lambeau Field on Monday. And Brewers broadcaster Jeff Levering joins the show to help celebrate the announcement of ESPN Madison becoming Madison's new radio home of the Milwaukee Brewers! Plus, Whoa Nelly! featuring a VERY interesting playoff-clinching scenario Jason discovered for the Packers.

If the Packers don't reach the Super Bowl, which other NFC contender do Packers fans want to see win the title? Tausch poses that question, and fans share their responses, on the Wilde and Tausch Twitter Feed and ESPN Wisconsin Talk & Text Line.

Tausch opens the show delaying paying off his tease that closed Monday's show...but he does have another question he asked fans on Twitter: If the Packers get eliminated from the playoffs, which other NFC team would Packers fans like to see win it all? And a special ESPN Madison announcement, featuring reigning NL Manager of the Year Pat Murphy joining the show!

Reviewing returns/responses on the Wilde and Tausch Twitter Feed, Facebook Page, YouTube comments, and ESPN Wisconsin Talk & Text Line to whether Tausch owes the Vikings an apology AND if the show has been too optimistic about the Packers so far this season. Also, Whoa Nelly! featuring Aaron Rodgers and the Jets officially being eliminated from playoff contention...again. And an epic Tausch tease to close the show!?
