2024 will mark Year 10 for Shaq Thompson. Thompson has spent all nine of his previous season with the Carolina Panthers. Having waited behind Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly before taking over as a starter in 2019. Since then, Thompson has been one of the defensive leaders and is one of the few players remaining from the Panthers magical 2015 season. But will 2024 be the final year for Shaq as he's set to be a free agent in 2025?

Gone is Frankie Luve. Enter Josey Jewell. Jewell will have the unenviable tasks to replace Luvu, who departed in free agent, signing with Washington. Aiding Jewell's transition to Carolina is his experience in defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero's scheme, having spent the 2022 season playing for Evero in Denver.
