After a very Hamilton musical filled weekend Mattie talks about the Real Hercules Mulligan, and Austin gets sad about the Summer Olympic games being called off and drowns his sorrows in talking about other times when things went bad at the games. This week Austin talks about yet another thing he should've learned in school and talks about a brief history of The Emancipation Proclamation and Juneteenth. Mattie talks about fears, anxieties, and phobias and how the three are diagnosed. 

This Week, Mattie tells us all about the American playwright Tennessee Williams and his horrifying family, and Austin researched Marsha P. Johnson the LGBTQ+ civil rights icon who might or might not have started a riot. Then we both get really mad about the author of a beloved children's book series and her continued access to twitter. It was so much worse than wizards pooping in halls this time. much worse.

This week, we dive into some serious topics. Austin actually teaches people something useful for once when he talks about Carlo Ponzi, Ponzi Schemes, and how to avoid falling for them. Then Mattie talks about freedom of the press and what exactly that means. and for people who are just here for our cats you get to hear Draco try to eat the microphone.

This week Mattie goes into the origin and definition of the terms first, second, third, and fourth world countries. and after Austin gets done assuming fourth world countries are mole people (they are not) he talks about the real underground menace and teaches us all about the 1980 Mt St Helens eruption and the unexpected similarities he found to events happening now. I also guess there are some spoilers to the movies Face/ Off and Dante's Peak, but those came out in the 90's you should have seen them by now.

This week, Austin is a big ol nerd about space again, but this time it is about Humanity's search for space aliens through SETI, and Mattie talks about Sleep Paralysis, and how it relates to ghosts and alien abductions. we talk a lot about aliens this week. we didn't plan it. Austin thinks it is the alien mind control rays, but Mattie won't let him wear his tinfoil hat in public.

In this week's episode, Mattie talks about the thousands of years of history surrounding birth control, while Austin makes fun of the jazz age by talking about when fashion was enforced by mob violence.
