Who knew what watching a Lord of the Rings again could trigger? Seriously, limiting principles or self-imposed limitations are worth exploring yet all too often overlooked. Enjoy!

At the start of the pandemic, I talked to Survival expert Toby Cowern to pick his brain and share information you might find useful. You can listen to that again here: https://wimsblog.com/47 For this new episode, we decided to revisit our thoughts from back then and see how they stood the test of time. Then we look forward to what comes next.

We've both been busy for the last year, so it took Iain Abernethy and me this long to get another crossover podcast done. This time, we asked listeners to tell us their pet peeves and we then first steel-manned them to follow up with weak-manning them. The goal was to look for different angles to each one, nuance, and so on. As always, it was loads of fun for us to discuss all this and there will be a Part 2 soon. Enjoy!

The next crossover podcast with Iain Abernathy is coming up soon and one of the questions we received for it triggered this episode here: what are some of the important principles of conditioning for martial arts and self-defense? Not what the "influencers" on social media say, but what sports science actually says? I cover this and more in this episode.
Enjoy!

It was way too long since I talked to Kris Wilder and I'm happy to say he accepted my invitation to interview him right away. We had an amazing talk covering a wide range of topics relevant to martial arts, self-defense, karate, and much more. We continued to record a second part in which Kris answers the questions from my Patrons.

Welcome to another listener Q&A episode of the podcast. This time, we're doing a Maximum Effort edition in which I answer a truckload of questions from my Facebook group members. I had a ton of fun answering them and I hope you enjoy this episode too. The links mentioned are here: https://wimsblog.com/64
