Wintrust Business Minute: Google Store to open in Oakbrook Center
Ryan Burrow has the business news of the day with the Wintrust Business Minute.
Google is putting its fifth U.S. brick and mortar retail store into the Oakbrook Center. Google Store Oakbrook will open next month. Similar to the Apple store, it will feature products shoppers can test and buy, including phones, watches, tablets, FitBit Trackers, and Nest Cameras. It will be a pickup location for online orders, and will have staff on hand for customer service and trouble shooting and repairs.
Also, Milwaukee based Harley Davidson announced dismal third quarter earnings, which included a 10% drop off in retail sales in the U.S., and 13% fall in global sales in Q3 compared to last year. Listen for more below:
