  • Chickpea Salad
Canada’s Food Guide recommends us to choose protein foods that come from plants more often, because they provide more fibre and less saturated fat than other types of protein foods. So today we’re learning to make Chickpea Salad, an easy and quick salad that can be made up to 5 days in advance. Let’s have a listen together!
Because of the development of new technology, new apps, and new learning styles, Healthy Recipes and Tips Show Podcast will make its adaptations as well.
From the next episode on May 7th 2021, this Podcast will focus ONLY on healthy tips, especially about attitude, mindset, and mentality, which help aspirational listeners to choose the right path to walk, get to your destinations faster, and make correct life decisions at the important moments. It will still cover topics like healthy psychology, behavioural science, personal improvement, life’s wisdom and insights, and so on, using my personal stories and other successful people’s in depth knowledge, in plain and simple languages, but there will be no individual healthy recipes any more.
Meantime, my podcast channel name will be updated to WISDIO.
Your host Charlie Wang, based in Toronto Canada, is the founder of this podcast show. His father is a stroke survivor.

He hopes you will all be healthy, and have healthy relationships and better lives because you and your family are all physically healthy, and eating better.

  • Knowledge is NOT Power 2
Some people know that it’s healthy to eat homemade food, and they want to take care of themselves in terms of healthy diet. That means, they’ve got knowledge and motivation. However, they still don’t cook at home. Why is that?
Spider Jones, who is a famous Canadian journalist, author and former three-time Golden Glove Champion boxer, was one of the guest speakers at an online event this past weekend. And he gave us the secret answer to how he made his dream at 10 years old happen after 30 years! You’ll never have to spend 30 years if you listen to today’s episode. Let’s have a listen together!

  • We Don’t Know What We Don’t Know
Years ago I spent a weekend at a friend’s waterfront cottage up north. It was summer and we were stepping into the water, ready for a swim. I walked slowly and carefully as I stepped on the cobbles. However, my friend told me that he didn’t feel the pain totally. I was not sure about my ears, so he explained that his feet didn’t feel any pain nor temperature.
It didn’t click to me until years later when I started studying diet and health. And I found out the real reason why my friend did not feel the pain in his feet…

You may already know the answer, but, if not, you could ask one of your Chinese friends. However, we’re learning some kitchen tools today, because planning to have them on hand will really help with your home cooking experiences. Let’s have a listen together!
