This verse always comes to my mind when I think of a wise woman. 

Proverbs 14:1
“A wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

1. The wise woman builds her house upon a rock and the foolish builds hers on the sand.

2. The wise woman knows her place in the home and strives to fulfill it. The foolish woman knows her place and yet, does her own thing.

3. The wise woman seeks and hears good counsel. The foolish woman thinks she knows it all and is always right.

4. The wise woman walks with the wise. The foolish woman is a companion of fools.

5. The wise woman is slow to anger and has self control. The foolish woman is hasty and can be known to use the word “venting” as an excuse

6. A wise woman fears and departs from evil. The foolish woman is wreck-less and careless in the presence of evil.

7. The wise woman will cease from strife. The foolish woman will meddle in it.

8. The wise woman knows how to use her tongue for knowledge. The mouth of the foolish woman just pours out foolishness.

9. The wise woman studies her steps. The foolish woman believes everything she hears.
