I will then key in on verses 32 & 33 - If you have been foolish in exalting yourself, Or if you have devised evil, put your hand on your mouth. For as the churning of mil produces butter, And the wringing the nose produces blood So the forcing of wrath produces strife. Friends, on today's podcast we will continue our study on the Gospel according to Luke. We will begin Chapter 8 today. By the end of today's lesson there are three things that I ask that you consider:

1. Many women minister to Jesus.

2. A sower went out to sow his seed.

3. Jesus often spoke in parables.

Call to Action - I'd like for everyone to reread Proverb 30 from verse 15 through the end of the chapter and ask God to enlighten you as to what Agur is trying to get across to the reader.

Friends, we should be more concerned with pleasing God than worrying about pleasing man. On today's lesson we will continue our study of the Gospel according to Luke. Today we will be completing Chapter 7. By the end of the lesson there are three things that I ask that you consider:

1. A woman washes the feet of Jesus.

2. We should be quick to forgive.

3. Jesus forgives this woman of her sins.

Call to action -Ask yourself this question - Are you more concerned with pleasing man or in pleasing God?

Justin is a first year Charis Bible College student. Justin shares how he was raised in a family where his dad and mom were pastors of a church. He had a happy childhood and he talks about the pressures that he had being raised as a pastor's kid. He talks about how he went to adventurous activities upon his graduation from high school. He talks about how he was led to come to Charis Bible College and how being here has changed his life.

Friends, we will find out in today's lesson that both John the Baptist and Jesus would often tell people things that they didn't necessarily want to hear (but that they needed to hear). 1. The tax collectors embraced John the Baptist's message that they needed to repent.

2. The lawyers and the Pharisees did not.

Call to Action - Ask yourself if you live your life (as a Christian) differently that the main stream population?

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 24. I will then key in on verses 1 & 2 - Do not be envious of evil men Nor desire to be with them; For their heart devises violence, And their lips talk of troublemaking. Friends, there is nothing about evil men that should be attractive to us. We should avoid people like that at all costs. On today's podcast I am going to go over a passage of scripture which shows the heart (and compassion) of Jesus. It is found in the Gospel of John, Chapter 8. Beginning in verse 2, we will hear of the story of a woman caught in the act of adultery. By the end of this lesson, there are there things that I ask that you consider:

1. The scribes and Pharisees test Jesus.

2. Jesus does not condemn the woman caught in adultery.

3. Jesus is the Light of the World.

Call to Action - Had you been in the synagogue that day, would you have joined forces with these evil men (wanting to stone this woman?)

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. I will then key in on verse 4 - Do not overwork to b e rich; Because of your own understanding, cease. The man we will be talking about on today's lesson, John the Baptist, certainly is an example of this. He lived (and preached) out in the desert. He work old clothes and sandals and had a scraggly beard and unkempt hair. On today's podcast we will continue where we left off yesterday (in chapter 7). By the end of today's lesson there are three things that I ask that you consider:

1. Jesus tells John's disciples to tell John the things they have seen and heard.

2. Blessed is he that is not offended because of me.

3. Jesus proclaims the purpose of why John the Baptist came.

Call to Action - John the Baptist's message was to repent. My call to action today is also to repent - and turn to God.
