Wish We Never Met

Wish We Never Met rising country star Shantaia? Listen to this WWNM episode and find out!

Before the singer joins the conversation, Amy and Dan discuss the disappointment of hard-boiled eggs that don't peel properly (Dan), meeting Lily Tomlin recently in LA (Amy), and the new RTD/canned cocktail trend of juice-based drinks.

Shantaia is the first guest to join the co-hosts in person in Dan's basement (lucky!), but is happy to chat about everything from her career evolution, her new single with the Hunter Brothers, why she's excited to tour, and a lot more.

Wish We Never Met comedian extraordinaire Karla Marx? Seeing as it's her second time on WWNM, we think not!

Amy and Dan also discuss their good friends' elopement to Banff, Amy's oddly long torso and so, so much more!

"Just because you cut your hair short doesn't mean you're gay, but..." - Amy re: Celine Dion's new look which bears a STRIKING resemblance for Amy's music promo shots from 10+ years ago.

Coincidence? We think not. ;)

Aside from that, the two discuss Dan's bizarre Instagram algorithm, collecting vintage fast-food glassware from the 80s, wigs in Hollywood and much more!

Wish We Never Met singer Clayton Bellamy? Listen to the new WWNM episode and find out!

The singer joins Amy and Dan to share a slightly scary "Wish I Never..." story before chatting about the upcoming album from The Road Hammers, his new record label, his Tom Petty tribute show and a lot more.

Dan's "stuck" in Vancouver for work and lost his microphone set-up, so it's clear he needs some R&R while Amy has never been happier with Dan so far away from her.

[ICYMI] This episode originally aired Feb. 21, 2025. If you missed it, be prepared to laugh!

Dan explains how he wound up fainting and peeing his pants during a recent Botox appointment. (Luckily, Amy was there to witness the magic!)

There's nowhere to go but up from that story, but Amy does try to up the ante by talking about her experience with online gambling and sports betting.

Then Jade Turner joins to share a "Wish I Never..." story and to chat about her recently-released album Breathe, which is getting rave reviews across the country.

From Dan eying Turkey for a hair transplant to Amy being a support person for a friend's boob job, this episode comes in real hot!

From there, the two talk about how good (classic) Kool-Aid is hard to find these days (but Dan found it!), and how Amy's grandma made THE best Kool-Aid in Saskatchewan in the 90s. Next, there's discussion of old headshots and Amy's cool recent live studio performance in Calgary...and a lot more too!

One of Canadian country music's most familiar faces joins Amy and Dan to share a "Wish I Never..." story about curry gone wrong in Thailand before chatting about her new music, love of sharks and so much more. Make sure to stream her latest song "In a Small Town" if you know what's good for ya!

To co-hosts also discuss the just-announced 10 Things I Hate About You musical that's in development with Carly Rae Jepsen and Lena Dunham, the VERY shocking I Know What You Did Last Summer (remake) trailer, sour beers, and a cool ad campaign they got hired for.

What are the odds both Dan and Amy have had interactions with the iconic Katharine McPhee?

Before the episode gets to that story, it's impossible to not discuss the all-female space adventure that Katy Perry was a part of this week. The satirical TikToks focused on Perry were especially hilarious.

Dan talks a bit about his recent viral(ish) TikTok about the Fairmont Royal York---where he met Katharine McPhee and David Foster in the lobby bar a few years back. Speaking of Foster, he's done the music for the new buzzworth Betty Boop musical that Dan thinks looks pretty great!

All this and lot more funny on this new episode of WWNM!

Amy and Dan miss the 90s for many reasons. From weird pop culture rumours that couldn't be easily vetted to the years when Red Lobster was the red-hot spot, AND gay awakenings a la Demi Moore in 'Striptease' (Amy).

With Dan's TikTok starting to get some traction, he's finally experiencing the blackhole that is bizarre TikTok video comments. Trolls keep things interesting, right?

Last, but not least, they talk Catholic school, christian youth groups and how to deal with SSA!
