The Cage is in the village of St-Osyth located in the county of Essex, southeast England. Said to be one of the most haunted properties in England. The Cage is a former village mediaeval lockup where drunks and villains would be kept overnight.

But is it best known for holding Ursula Kempe, one of the St-Osyth women accused and found guilty of witchcraft. Ursula was hanged in 1582  together with another woman, Elizabeth Bennett.
