  • On All Things Self-Love

Welcome to episode 5! Okkkkk I know the topic of self-love can feel so basic, cliche and overdone but it can *actually* be transformative when we explore it from a relational (and practical) lens... so that's what we're doing!

What you can expect to hear about in this episode:

    • What inspired me to explore the v cliche topic of self-love
    • What is self-love? A relational approach
    • How we can learn to fall in love with ourselves
    • My fave (free) self-love practices
    • Some questions to help you explore your personal relationship with self-love

Resource: if you'd like to try out the dialoguing exercise (which I totally butchered explaining in the episode lolol), here is a prompt to follow:

"Dear Little (insert your name here), Thank you for being here. How are you feeling? (note: write out what he/she/they say to you for each of these questions) What do you need right now? What do you want to do with your time? Is there anything else you want me to know?"

After you ask them these questions offer them some support and love in writing i.e. I am here for you now and always. I love you as you are, etc.

Note: the intention of this is a dialogue to meet your inner child, get to know them and provide them with love and support.

Welcome to episode 3! In this episode I'm sharing some of the personal challenges I've experienced when it comes to setting goals and having a clear vision, as well as some unconventional and creative methods I've learned that can help us in 2024 and beyond.

What you can expect to hear about in this episode:

  • On Creating Your Own Rules

Welcome to episode 2! In this episode I'm unraveling how societal and cultural conventions aka "the rules" have affected me as a 36-year-old single, childless woman who grew up in a super religious, immigrant Italian home (and then later spending over 12+ years in corporate banking). I'm also sharing things I've learned along the way through my own personal development that have helped me get to know the real me.

What you can expect to hear about in this episode:

    • How I reframed recent triggering events (with the help of my therapist lol)
    • How to wake up if you've been inundated by societal rules and conventions
    • Sharing my personal experience with how I've created my own rules that have helped me get to where I am today (personally and professionally)
    • 2 simple ways to start creating your own rules without necessarily blowing up your life
    • Some questions to help you begin exploring your relationship with rules and more

NB: Apologies my voice goes a lil alien for a few seconds at around 10 mins - I've since fixed the issue for future episodes - thank you for your patience :)
