Goals, Goals, Goals!

What I have learned:

1. I can pick and choose my battles but we all have limits.

2. I like to be on my own schedule doing my own thing, but I also want my people there along for the journey.

3. Being open after a breakup especially a heartbreak is very hard.

Goals for 2020:

1. Continue to work on loving myself and finding peace each day

2. Pay off debt and buy a house

3. Don’t force love.

This is my letter after yoga to anyone who thinks I am strong and/or feels like they can not be weak around me.

Busy week and lots learned!

What I have learned:

1. When you do things that excite you, you become excited

2. We don’t all communicate the same so we have to be willing to teach people who to communicate with us but also learn how to communicate with others in their own understanding.

- I was wondering why there are not more women out in the motivational coaching world. I love @msrachelhollis because she is so real and authentic!

What I want to work on:

1. Downtime

2. Putting a plan in place for 2020

Awareness only gets you so far you must take action!

What I have learned:

1. Very tough week! - Gotta find ways to motivate myself in times of depressive states.

2. Just because you are aware doesn’t make your faults or flaws any different- you must take action!

3. No one is me and I am not them- I can’t expect it to go either way.

What I want to work on:

1. Taking time to breathe and relax

2. Allow myself to be open to the newness in a relationship

3. Spend time on website and content

My thoughts on this quote:

Having anxiety and depression is like being scared and tired at the same time. It’s the fear of failure but no urge to be productive. It’s wanting friends but hate socializing. It’s wanting to be alone but not wanting to be lonely! It’s caring about everything then caring about nothing. It’s feeling everything at once then feeling paralyzingly numb.

Rough few weeks but it is important to keep working at it!

What I have learned:

1. My depression and anxiety cause stress which in turn makes my anxiety worse and makes me feel bad about not being as productive as I “should be”

2. It is okay to not do everything and be everything

3. Do the things that keep you at 100%

What I want to work on:

1. Pushing through - but not over doing it

2. Spend time in silence

3. Work to embrace the time of darkness

When you do what brings you peace you feel a lot lighter!

What I learned

1. Shame for not going home- continue to do what is best for you!

2. When I get into relationship/friendship I tend to run my schedule/life around them- I have to stand my ground on the things that are important to me

3. The need to be right- ego (I don’t know everything and most things I think is “right” is just opinion!

What I am going to work on this week:

1. Continuing my high expectations- hope as it is going to happen not a wishful thinking

2. Spend time working on my podcast and my website

3. Not making any plans Friday night

Last week was hard but necessary! This is therapeutic for me!

What I learned

1. Do what brings peace to you

2. Make amends (not have to friends but no negativity) and be authentically you

3. Be a peacemaker (communication and talking it out)

-Peacebreaker: someone who wants to win the argument

-Peacefaker: someone who avoids the argument

What I am going to work on this week:

1. Work on doing what brings peace to me

2. Spend my extra time working on my own brand

3. Rest and relax

Strategies don’t fix the problem they help elevate the symptoms after the situation has arose or right before the situation arises. Be compassionate and ask what you can do, not tell people to breathe or be more positive. Anxiety and depression are real!

I have been sick and busy, but mostly avoiding doing this video!

What I learned:


1. Was mad at myself, her and God

-We condition people on how to treat us with what we allow

2. If we don’t give people a chance to show us who they are at their best we really won’t ever know them

3. I don’t like the word Strategies, I would rather say techniques

4. God is in the waiting

What I am going to work on this week:


 1. Allowing people to be them selves and not be wrong about it

2. Talking about the hard stuff

3. Keep working on my peace
