No worries strikes a cord in me because I already have anxiety and I am worried that the person is either actually worried or they don’t care! So I need to tell my feelings positively but also understand they might not understand what I am trying to tell them. Then I need to go find someone who does understand me!

Busy time of year!

What I learned:


1. Peace does not mean harmony or that there is no conflict

1. Calm emotions during the storm

2. I force interactions

1. If people do not reciprocate the energy you are giving out stop giving them so much

4. Dating

1. It is okay to hang out with multiple people to find the person you want to exclusively date


What I am going to work on this week:
1. Continue to work on podcast and website
2. Be around people who reciprocate interaction
3. Read books that are about love and myself

Being authentic means being your self with words and actions. If this offends someone it is about them- something they have not dealt with or something they are insecure about. This is true but this is also the time to be compassionate and empathetic! To say you understand that what you said or did upset them or struck a cord in them and then try to walk them through why this happened! This is the foundation to great relationships.

Last week was busy but there was still growth!

What I learned:

1. Found people on instagram who resonate with me

- Vulnerability (talking about this on my podcast later this week)
2. What it is about you that doesn’t work?

- Insecurity about myself

- Communicate my feelings in a positive way (speaking from a place of love)

- Knowing triggers from the past

Someone leaving

Someone ignoring me

Someone who doesn’t acknowledge my feelings and hurts

- If you really loved me

- Expectations

- What are the expectations and are they realistic

- Self expectations (what can you actually accomplish)

- It’s hard for me to let someone in and love me or help me

- You don’t owe anyone anything because they do something nice for you


What I am going to work on this week:

1. Work on podcast and website
2. Do things that bring me pure joy
3. Read books that are about love and myself

Last week I said I was going to work toward my career- I set up some processes at work that will help me better utilize my time- I revised my resume and updated my LinkedIn

What I learned:

1. I have made love an idol (love from family, friends and relational)

2. I need to become the person I seek 1. Know what you want 2. Know The Who’s in your life that can help you achieve it and The Who you want to be 3. Know what you are good at 4. Know what it is about you that doesn’t work

3. Being authentic and real connects people

4. Dont waste your pain and/or loneliness

What I am going to work on this week:

1. Working to align myself with God and then to align myself with people who resonate with me to become who I seek (this will be a long ongoing process)

2. Continue to set time aside to work on pushing towards my dreams

3. Figure out what I want

Things I learned last week:

1. When you get out of your comfort zone new things find you

2. Stop chasing the things and people who dont want you and aren’t for you

3. When we focus our energy on people or things that are not for us they only distract us from what we should be dong and who we should be doing it with

This week I am going to work on focusing my energy into the things I need to get done for work and pushing myself/my career to the next level

What I learned this week:

1. Being alone is hard - but you have to start somewhere!

2. When you start to take time for yourself things start to happen and come easier to you!

3. Energy management and conservation- your time and energy matter!

This is the first time I am doing this and also the first one of this series!

I am going to spend the next three months and maybe a year (really however long it takes) to find self love!
