All of the negative emotions we often feel only exists in our mind. That embarrassment we feel only comes from inside, it often doesn't reality on the outside. And it's a sign to look deeper into ourselves to heal.

It is important to be able to differentiate who is suffering in any given circumstance. If many of us truly reflect on this, we'll leave many of the negative emotions we carry about.

When you realise that you can't undo the past by holding on to a grudge or refusing to forgive someone who hurt you, then it becomes easy for you to, as they say in Nigeria, 'free your mind'.

People often think forgiving too quickly allows the person do it again. The person will only do it again, if you allow them to. 

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. When you stay in the present moment, you realise that no matter what is happening around, your life can access so much beauty.

People often think that because one is powerful, rich, has luxuries of life, the person is impervious to pain. That's not true. Powerful people are humans too. Powerful people feel pain.

There is something in me that also created the sun, moon and stars. I am special and I am fearfully and wonderfully made. If you know who you are, you won't allow disrespect around you and you won't feel intimidated by another who knows who they are.

To stay in our place of personal power sometimes means taking action that will lead to consequence that we don't like. We don't want the consequence of doing the right thing, so we prefer to pretend that we had no choice.
