Youghal native Linda Donoghue loved the blue flag beach in her East Cork hometown, and during lockdown she began to swim with friends. While socially-distancing, she discovered a real connection with those who shared her love of the sea and has built up a group of over 200 members. A recently published book, titled Saltwater Souls, has been a remarkable success and the sense of community and friendship that has resulted from this group has been phenomenal. [email protected]
