Well, I am back with a new episode! I kind of wish I could say I went on a year "Eat, Pray, Love"-style adventure to rediscover myself but that just didn't happen! Instead, I experienced my own journey and the gifts kind of came to me. 

In today's episode, you hear all about my last year of what I've been going through on this healing path. You'll learn what's helped my transformation, what's been a struggle and what is to come!

At 16:00, I have some realizations about how easily we get attached to untrue stories in our minds when self care is not in place- in the midst of recording, so that's fun!

Sabrina Souto has so much love to share with this world! In her practice as an Acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner, she has witnessed and facilitated miracles in her patients. It's so beautiful that she has found this line of work and is able to heal others with her learning. She says, "it has been my greatest healer". We delve into what she believes real intimacy is and how she overcame her fear of it.

Fertility and conception issues can be frustrating and even devasting at times. Laura Milroy tells all in this interview about her and her husband’s journey to conceiving their second little girl. It wasn’t easy but, Laura says, “you can’t lose hope. If you decide you want to be a mother, you will be”. Between post-pregnancy anxiety from her first child, four mis-carriages, a molar pregnancy and a traumatic birth, Laura has endured a lot. Through sharing her story, Laura hopes to inspire hope, as well as diminish some of the shame and guilt for anyone going through similar experiences.

With courage, Abby shares her story with us today about her battle with depression. Since the age of 13, Abby has been affected with this mental illness in her life on and off but with more bad periods than good. Still, she was determined to follow her dream and love of social media marketing and being an entrepreneur. She pursued a full-time social media marketing business, Lillia Comms, in May 2018. Within the first year, she built a full roster of clients. 

Despite being proud and loving her work, it took its toll on her mental health in a serious way and, ultimately, lead her to the decision to put down the entrepreneurship for a 9-5. She bravely shares her journey thus far and what's on the horizon for the future!

Today, I talk with Lindsey Kaupp who specializes in Pelvic Health Therapy. She shares her story with pelvic health issues and how they have affected her life in many ways throughout her life as an athlete and now as a wife and mother. We touch on topics including hypertonic Pelvic Floor (50% Incidence in Women), Diastasis Recti and Pelvic Floor Prolapse. Lindsey approaches Women’s Health in a very holistic sense; she doesn’t solely focus on the physical, she takes into consideration mental health, stress and life factors as well!

Natasia is such a beautiful soul who is passionate and determined to help people heal. Jesse is a successful Petroleum Engineer, specializing in land reclamation, in the oil and gas sector. Since 2012, she's been running her own company, DDM Analytics, and surviving through the ups and downs of the economy. After going through a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments, Jesse is thankfully in remission now. She shares her journey with all the ups and downs; as well as, what she's doing now to give back and support people with cancer!

Jazmin LaFramboise, “the girl with the pink hair”, is a local Edmonton and Area realtor, who grew up in and resides in Spruce Grove with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Parkland Pregnancy Support Centre and she is a strong mental health advocate!
