This week on Women of Distance, we welcome Camille Herron to the podcast for a much overdue conversation! Camille is a world record holder in both ultra distance and timed events as well as a world champion in the 50k, 100k and 24 hr. We dive into how Camille found her passion from running, how different sports informed her approach to the sport and how she trains for world records. This was a great episode in which we got a glimpse into what it takes to go after big audacious goals and relentlessly pursue what lights your fire.

Amanda Basham is a professional trail runner and endurance coach who has been competing at the highest level in the sport for over 10 years. Dani Moreno is a world-class mountain runner who lives in Mammoth Lakes, California. Dani competes primarily in sub-ultra distances on the international stage including the Golden Trail World Series and Skyrunning. She has also won the USATF 50km national championship in 2019 and most recently was 3rd at OCC 2022.

Leah Yingling is an ultrarunner based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Leah started racing ultras in 2015 and most recently was ranked #9 in the UltraRunning Magazine Ultrarunner of the Year rankings. In 2022, she was top 10 at WS, was 2nd at Canyons 100k and competed for Team USA at the Trail World Champs.
