September 19, 2018WEG Day 8 - Erynn Ballard, Adrienne Sternlicht, Amanda DerbyshireThe show jumping competition of the World Equestrian Games got underway in Tryon, NC and Chris Stafford talked to three team rookies who are making their championship debut and who were previous guests on The Horse Show. Canada's Erynn Ballard rode Darkos Promise into 33rd place of the 124 starters today in the speed competition which was one round against the clock. Double Olympian Bettina Hoy who is coach of the Dutch eventing team, and Debbie Adams, rider, trainer and a volunteer cross country judge here at the World Equestrian Games tomorrow. They share their thoughts on the course and how it will ride and their impressions of this facility and how they are handling a major championships especially with a hurricane approaching.
