June 25, 2018Moovin and Groovin: S1E2 - Yoga for RunnersClaire Deacon guides us through some of the best yoga poses for runners, explaining there is no fast track for flexibility, it takes ground work and time but once you’re there you are in with some continuance. Flexibility will help you with your general posture, your range of movement and ultimately provide you with a higher quality of life. Yoga is not just about flexibility and strengthening of muscles; as a runner you will know the importance of breathing. Claire recommends using yoga as part of your post-run stretching sequence. Intense stretching is best done after intense sports. Claire walks us through a selection of poses that will help you especially as a runner.
