November 16, 2016Locker Room Talk - S1E1 with Sara & KellyWelcome to the latest WiSP Sports Radio podcast Locker Room Talk with Sara Gross and Kelly O’Mara. Conversations that are disrespectful and derogatory - too often towards women - are frequently downplayed and disregarded as “Locker Room talk.” Sara and Kelly team up in a show that turns the tables on this notion. It’s not a show about women’s sport per se, but women talking about sport. In this first episode Sara and Kelly talk about the U.S. presidential election, and, most importantly, how we create a space for women in one of the most masculine arenas in the western world - Sport and why “mansplaining” is more than an occasional annoyance. Plus some controversial news about women athletes in surfing and running. Join Sara and Kelly now, in the Locker Room.
