An inspiration for women's cycling in Africa, Jeanne d'Arc is also a symbol of hope in a country that cherishes women's empowerment in all sectors of the economy. She is also one of the beacons of hope from a country that befell one of the worst atrocities suffered by the human race. November 19, 2015Athlete Profile: Heather MoyseRecord breaking Canadian multi-sportswoman Heather Moyse won back-to-back Olympic gold medals in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 with her two-woman Bobsleigh partner Kaillie Humphries and a host of World Cup top three finishes from 2005-2014. In her Rugby career she represented Canada in two World Cups; in cycling at the 2012 Pan American Games, as well as her home province of Prince Edward Island in athletics, plus Varsity soccer, to name just a handful of her many accomplishments. Heather shares some of the skills and experiences that sport has taught her and what her focus is now, which includes climbing the highest mountain in Antartica for charity.
