On this episode of the pod we are joined by the phenomenal Hannah Miley! Hannah is an individual medley swimmer who debuted for the British Swimming team in 2006 and won 25 international medals at major events during her 15-year career at the top. This included back-to-back Commonwealth titles for Team Scotland in 2010 and 2014 and she represented Team GB at the Olympic Games in 2008, 2012 and 2016. Since retiring from swimming in December 2021 she has been focusing on leading the way in several campaigns to break the stigma around the language when talking about periods and hosting educational workshops. In this episode we discuss:
- not letting size hold you back
- focussing on processes and not outcomes
- viewing success and learning from the journey
- mistaking MBE honours letters for the police
- breaking down the taboo around periods
- how to work with your body to get the most out of it

On this episode of the pod we are joined by the remarkable Ruth Mwandumbu. Ruth won the England Rifle Shooting Championship in 2018 and 2022 after finding the sport through military cadets. She has tackled the lack of diversity in shooting head on by spearheading a campaign with British Shooting titled Targeting Change which aimed at bringing more people into the sport. Ruth is a true trailblazer - she has achieved incredible feats as an athlete and an ambassador of sport and we absolutely loved getting to hear more about it first hand on this episode of the podcast. We discuss:

- how to be at the top of your game
- increasing diversity in sports that lack it

It was an absolute pleasure to have recently retired England and Harlequins legend Shaunagh Brown on the podcast to reflect on her career on the pitch, everything she does for the sporting community off the pitch and what she is doing now.
