This is episode 2 of the series: Women’s Reproductive Health Issues in the Face of Changing Legislation
For nearly 50 years, the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court of the United States to legalize elective abortion has made a substantial impact on women’s healthcare and accessibility to elective abortion methods. The 2022 Supreme Court of the United States’ decision regarding abortion has spurred much discussion about how healthcare and women’s health issues are and may be impacted. Changes to laws and healthcare policies create a need to understand how to navigate the new and different healthcare environment based on the influence and effects of these changes. A nonpartisan, nonpolitical discussion of matters related to women’s health and reproductive healthcare are examined to help bring clarity to the current conversation.
