  Africa is home to an incredibly vast array of different species of plant and animal. Some of the most dangerous animals in the world live on the 5-thousand-mile-long continent, but this threat was of little concern to Kristen Yaldor and her husband whom planned a trip to explore their passion for wildlife photography and to bring home some new memories. Nobody could have anticipated the kind of memory they'd be returning with would be one of survival and courage when an upset Hippopotamus got too close.

   Zoos are a fascinating concept. They utilize panes of plexi-glass and steel bars to separate nature's perfect killers from us defenseless humans so we can peer into their eyes and experience what a moment in their presence feels like - within the safety measures provided, of course.
    One typical day, a sweet mother was taking her young son and only child to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium for an educational class, and decided to walk him around the zoo afterwards to see the different animals. With large glasses that helped 2-year old Maddox Derkosh to compensate for the poor vision he was born with, he eagerly peered through the windows and over the railings at the different exhibits. There was just one exhibit, featuring a pack of 11 African Painted Dogs, of which he couldn't see the animals well enough. His doting mother had an innocent idea of lifting him up onto the railing for a better view, but nobody could have saw what was coming when sweet little Derkosh and his large Harry-Potter-style glasses fell forward out of her arms and 14 feet into the exhibit below.

    Time is a magical concept. With it, all things change. Even things that were once new and beautiful, with time will rot and decay like everything else.
  This applies to machinery as well, and with the rapid advancement of technology, every year of outdated equipment seems to have an effect of much larger magnitude. Safety provisions across all industries have evolved and enhanced throughout time.
  The risks of Saturation Diving however, have not changed much over the years. To this day it remains one of the most dangerous professions within mankind, and people who are able to withstand the hardships of this incredibly taxing line of work are compensated well, and do so expecting to end each journey by seeing their family again.
  Sadly for five workers one November day in 1983, this was not the case, as outdated equipment and a lack of updated safety precautions caused the brutal and horrific death of almost an entire crew, not one by one but all at once, and all due to a simple human error that was so avoidable and preventable.
  With the inclusion of the authentic autopsy report from the 1980's and medical journal entries full of rather... graphic descriptions, this episode is NOT for the faint of heart.
