Send us Fan Mail
Life can shift quickly — headlines change, plans move, doors open and close, and sometimes our faith may dance a little as we find our footing. “SHOW US THE MOVE” reminds us that uncertainty never stands alone: faith stands beside it, hope walks with it, God’s word goes before us and God’s Spirit lives within us. We may not see the whole road, but we trust God to give us enough wisdom and light for the next step — and by faith, we’ll walk and dance in it together with God.

11 min - “THIS VERY DAY — LIVE IT!”
Send us Fan Mail
“THIS VERY DAY” — is a prayer about waking up with a made-up mind about how we are going to live the day God has given us. Psalm 118:24 reminds us that rejoicing doesn’t have to wait until the end of the day — we can choose gladness, expectation, faith, and possibility right now. We know the God who holds this day, and we have already been given the ability to think, choose, speak, love, create, and participate in the abundant life Jesus ame for us to have. This is the day the Lord has made — and we are going to LIVE IT!

9 min - “GOD MOVED IN BEFORE YOU DID”
Send us Fan Mail
Some mornings we wake up carrying more than we let on. This prayer does not ask you to pretend. It simply leads you to the One who was already in the room before you opened your eyes — the God who is mighty enough to save and tender enough to quiet every anxious place with nothing more than love. Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us that God does not observe our lives from a distance, but is in our midst. Present, active, and singing over the very life you are living right now. This morning we open up the part we usually keep closed. And we let God lead us through the day from there.

6 min - “FIND SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT”
Send us Fan Mail
A glad heart makes for a cheerful countenance (Proverbs 15:13). There are those times when a smile, just misses us. When heaviness crowds out gladness, Proverbs 17 urges us to find a reason to still be glad and smile. It doesn’t deny life’s struggles, but it does remind us that joy is a choice, made in spite of circumstances. This prayer is lighthearted and joy focused to help us draw cheerfulness within, because somehow it does really change and uplift our spirit.

Our hands do more than complete tasks — they care, build, create, help, serve, and put something good into the world. GOOD WORK is a prayer for everyone whose hands have been busy doing what matters, especially when that effort goes unnoticed. Today, we recognize the value of what we do and remember: God is not finished with the work of our hands.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PODCAST:
The vision for “Words For The Soul, Food For The Heart” was born during the Covid-19 pandemic — during a season when the world slowed down, church doors closed, and many people found themselves searching for hope, comfort, strength, and connection. As a pastor, I was determined to stay connected to the congregation and community I served. Week after week, I searched for creative ways to encourage people during uncertain and emotionally heavy times.
What began with simple cellphone video messages and Facebook Live moments eventually grew into something much larger — a calling to speak life, hope, healing, encouragement, and strength not only to a local congregation, but to listeners everywhere.
Today, this podcast reaches people across cities, states, and countries with one consistent mission:
To help people feed their soul before they face their day.
Thank you for allowing this podcast to be part of your life journey. My prayer is that every episode leaves you stronger, wiser, more hopeful, and reminded that God is still present in your story.
with Love,
Jackie W.
