Today’s Prayer is for everybody! All the people. Every single one. The one’s battling. The one’s fighting. The one’s carrying. The one’s taking. The one’s doing their best when their best doesn’t seem to be enough. You Gon … Make It! Deuteronomy 31:8 declares You Gon Make It … because “The Lord goes before you. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you”. So, today we don’t cave. We don’t bend. We STAND. And we declare — “I’m Gon Make It”.

It’s a new week. So, the invitation is to let God lead rather than you gripping so tightly to what you think your week should look like. Open your hands and let God establish the steps to your plans. Stay open. Stay flexible. Trust God with all of it. See what happens.

Wherever you are this morning is sacred ground. The living room. The car. The kitchen table. All of it is holy ground. Because You are in it. So, John 4:23 invites us to come to this day, as our real selves. No masks. No performances. Just worship. True worship. In spirit and in truth.

Good Morning, and Happy Saturday! This morning, we seek not to be in a hurry. We receive the quiet. The slower pace. The joy of God’s presence in an unhurried moment. Simple pleasures. Good conversations. Warm moments. Unexpected joy. God is found not just in the busy, but in the still. Receive this Saturday, fully and gratefully. Amen.

Here we are — Happy Friday! We made it — through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and now it’s Friday. Before we rush into the weekend — let’s stop — And look at what God did. God kept us! God carried us! God walked through the whatever’s with us! And we are still here. That is not luck. That is what God’s faithfulness did for you. So, review your week and look at all God did to bring you through. Then give God praise! Amen.

This is Thursday. We are … Almost there! And the space between almost and there sometimes carries its own challenges. But Isaiah 43:2 reminds us — when you pass through the waters God is with you. Not watching from there shore. Not waiting on the other side. With you! In the middle. Right now. So keep moving. The other side is just ahead.

Right in the middle of the week — we need an anchor. Not a push! Not a pep talk. An anchor. Hebrews 6:19 confirms something for us — we have exactly that. A hope that is firm, secure, and an anchor that is rooted and seated in God. When the midweek pressure starts to build — go back to the anchor. It is always available to you.

Tuesday is when Monday’s fresh start meets real life. For Galatians 6:9 reminds us — at the proper time, we will reap, a harvest, if we do not give up. The harvest is coming. The proper time, is God’s time. And we, are still in the game!

Whatever last week held — whatever it cost, God’s mercy showed up fresh. Today’s prayer receives that freshness. Monday holds fresh possibilities for each of us.

This Sunday morning we come, no just with praise, but with everything. The gratitude and the grief. The joy and questions. The faith and the moments when it feels faith is thin. We come anyhow, because in You, God we find exactly what we need.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PODCAST:
The vision for “Words For The Soul, Food For The Heart” was born during the Covid-19 pandemic — during a season when the world slowed down, church doors closed, and many people found themselves searching for hope, comfort, strength, and connection. As a pastor, I was determined to stay connected to the congregation and community I served. Week after week, I searched for creative ways to encourage people during uncertain and emotionally heavy times.
What began with simple cellphone video messages and Facebook Live moments eventually grew into something much larger — a calling to speak life, hope, healing, encouragement, and strength not only to a local congregation, but to listeners everywhere.
Today, this podcast reaches people across cities, states, and countries with one consistent mission:
To help people feed their soul before they face their day.
Thank you for allowing this podcast to be part of your life journey. My prayer is that every episode leaves you stronger, wiser, more hopeful, and reminded that God is still present in your story.
with Love,
Jackie W.
