Hey y'all! In this episode, I'm joined by my new friend Kayla Lopez, who is a sophomore at the University of Georgia majoring in Journalism/Mass Communication. Kayla has grown up knowing Jesus her whole life, but would say her relationship with Him became personal for about 3 years, when she made the decision to attend church on her own + get baptized. Kayla is so excited to be on the podcast today, and says "this is literally a dream come trueeee", as she aspires to be a broadcast journalist some day in the future.
In this episode, Kayla and I discuss the Instagram polls I posted last week on Forgiveness and Apologizing. We answer your questions on a variety of topics, including: Is it easy or difficult for you to forgive others? Is it easier to forgive or avoid? What's more important: forgiving or apologizing? Are we 100% forgiven? Is there a limit to forgiveness or is it unconditional? Does God limit Himself by forgiving unconditionally? Can't we just take advantage of Him and treat Him like a doormat? and more like these! - some of which may be answered in the next episode.

Hello! Happy first episode of SEASON 3!!! It's crazy to already be on the third season of Words of Love already, and I am so excited to begin with some exciting announcements and updates in this episode. Glory to God for real because He is just incredible and so faithful. In this episode, we discuss forgiveness - which is a very important and central theme to Christianity. We discuss: what is forgiveness? The google definition vs. the biblical definition? Why is forgiveness necessary and what does it require? What are the consequences of holding grudges + having a heart of unforgiveness? Why did Jesus sacrifice Himself + take on our sin? Why is forgiveness offered to us in the first place? and more!

Hey y'all! This is your host Luvlan Lee + welcome to the Words of Love podcast. In this episode, we talk about... prostitutes + harlots, specifically how Jesus used these unlikely women to share His message + further His kingdom. We explore and discuss the stories of Rahab (a Canaanite woman, liar, and harlot in the city of Jericho - Joshua 2), Gomer (unfaithful wife to the prophet Hosea - Hosea 1), and lastly Mary Magdalene/Mary the sister of Lazaraus... (were they even harlots like everyone thinks they were??). I really enjoyed studying these passages and recounting these stories. There is such a rich blessing + piece of wisdom in each one of these women's life stories. The symbolism, the bold faith, the testaments of HIs love, ugh... SO GOOD. Hey y'all! This is Luvlan Lee and welcome to the Words of Love podcast where we talk about lifestyle, hard questions, and anything you want to talk about through the lens of a Christian perspective. In this episode, I share some life updates and valuable knowledge the Lord has been teaching me lately: There is reason for everything. You are exactly where you need to be. This season has a purpose. Trust in Jesus. As someone who's inherently anxious/worrisome -constantly grasping for hope through doubts, depression, and a debilitating thoughts, I NEEDED this Word today. The Book of Ecclesiastes is a book of Wisdom. Written by King Solomon, the son of David, this entire book expresses the deep sense of grief and emptiness elicited by a life of self-motivated/ungodly purpose. You read how living a life out of God's will is "vanity", "grasping for the wind", and useless "toiling under the sun". History repeats itself. Humans are wretched and foolish - continuously searching after purpose in material things that this world promises will appease their longing.
Only life found in Jesus Christ can fully bring peace, joy, love, rest, strength, wisdom, purpose, and SO much more. As human beings, we are constantly asking "what is the meaning of life?", and I am here today as a testimony that the deep longing of our souls can only be filled by a limitless, freely giving, and all-merciful Father. His name is Jesus Christ.
I pray you find some meaning in these words. They are not mine, but His. The Word of God is what proves to be true. Forever. Love you + am praying deeply for you and this generation. We don't have to face life alone. I'm a DM away and I am SO here for you. As always, speak love and live it!

Hey y’all! Happy Wednesday. This is part 2 of the episode with Melissa and Loralei. If you haven’t yet, go stream their first episode S2E16 Relationships: Boys, Dating, & Sexual Trauma. It’s very insightful and powerful! In this episode, we share our advice and things we’ve learned from our personal dating relationships as high school/college students. I also share a reading on “How to Date” from Ben Stuart’s devotional Dating in the Modern Age. This was one of the readings that showed me clearly what I should be looking for in a relationship and how to date in a God-honoring way! And it obviously worked LOLOL.
