  • Patiently Waiting

Those who wait may well wait forever. There is a time for patience, sometimes we must wait and allow life to go at its own pace. This podcast is not for these times, this is for the times we expect something is going to come to us just because we ask it to, instead of making it happen. We become victims of circumstance, allowing life to happen to us rather than us shaping the world around us. It is time to become an active participant rather than a passive victim of circumstance.

  • Decisions Decisions

We bare to much weight on how much we are a product of our environment, and not enough on how we are a product of our choices. When we allow ourselves to become victims of life, we strip away our power to shape how we want our experience to be.

  • Forgive You, Forgive me

When we can truly begin to accept others, we can accept ourselves and vice versa. It may not be easy, but forgiveness is an act of service to ourselves. The more we can accept in others, an unconditional love for all, the more we can unconditionally love ourselves.

  • The Difference Between Knowledge and Wisdom

We all have things we know we could do better, changes we have wanted to make and areas we know we should really strengthen. This is where the difference between knowledge and wisdom comes in, knowledge is information that sits in our brain that hasn't been gained through our own experience or we haven't taken action upon yet.

We can use this as a form of avoidance, to continually look for new information, new knowledge, instead of doing what we know needs to be done. It can feel easier to search than it can to confront what we already know to be true.

  • Anxiety Into Awareness

Anxiety can only occur when you are outside of the present moment. The anxious thoughts use the exact mechanism as your awareness, though awareness is present and anxiety lives in the future. Whenever we are overthinking, worrying or fearing what might happen, we can bring ourselves back to the present moment and be aware of what is happening around us instead of what might happen in the future.

  • Birds of a Feather Flock Together

Typically, we seek out people that understand them. The people the best understand us can often be people who have had similar experiences as us; unfortunately, these experiences can be extremely painful, and we seek comfort in those that share our pain. This can mean that we surround ourselves with people who have the same pain and the same coping mechanisms and are hurt in the same ways we are hurt. The people that may provide you with a way out might just be the people you are avoiding.

  • The Person we Learned To Become

No matter where you were born, which family you were born into or where you grew up, we all had an ideal thrust upon us to obtain. We were all told who we should be, by society, by religion, by family and by the people around us. This leaves us hyperfocused on becoming who we were told to become and neglecting the discovery of who are.

  • Shadow Work

You cannot have light without dark. This much is known, but when it comes to ourselves many people strive to convince themselves there is only light. By keeping ourselves blind to our own capacity of evil, we allow it to rule our subconscious.

  • The Art Of Surrender

A common theme, but an important one nevertheless. I am learning more and more that what is often needed from me is to set the intention, let it be known what I want to create, and trust that if it is meant for me then the universe will provide.
