Larry Stroman & Todd Johnson - Tribe Comic returns after 30 years! I had the honor to talk with both Todd Johnson and Larry Stroman and what a blast it was! It was 30 years ago Larry and Todd came together and created Tribe. At the time Tribe was published by Image Comics and issue one sold over one million copies!

To this day it is the best-selling African American comic from African American creators! In fact, Tribe was released months before Milestone Comics released their first titles of Hardware, Icon, Blood Syndicate, and Static.

Todd and Larry have created over 200 characters for the Tribe universe and some of these characters will be seen in issue five and beyond. They will join the popular characters from the first four issues like Blindspot, Hannibal, Front, Steel Pulse, Lord Deus, and more! This initial Tribe title released a total of four issues. Later this summer Larry and Todd will be releasing issue five!
